Although I am the newest financial advisor at Chicory Wealth, my life, education, and career have revolved around helping others and the environment in which they live.

My career began as a park superintendent and later evolved to working at a land conservation nonprofit. Wanting to connect with others on a more formative level, I went on to teach science courses at the college level, both at a local community college as well as a larger university.

From a young age, I have always had a passion for personal finance. Like many children, my younger sister and I would receive a weekly allowance. I would save mine in a piggy bank and my sister spent hers immediately. This curiosity led me to discover that not everyone thinks about their finances the same way.

Upon discovering fee-only financial planning, a lightbulb went off for me. Being able to combine helping others and my passion for personal finance seemed like a perfect fit. From there, I went on to pursue the Certified Financial Planner™ coursework at Fairleigh Dickinson University and have been in the financial services industry since 2020. I completed the CFP® exam requirement in March of 2021.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Centenary University and an M.S. in conservation biology from Green Mountain College.

I grew up and currently reside in northwest New Jersey with my husband, Ian, and our four rescue dogs. A balanced life for me includes spending time outdoors, pickleball, reading, running, traveling, and cooking.
