Rosanna Marie Neil,
JD
Financial Advisor
I’m an advisor with a background as an attorney and advocate. Most of my career has revolved around creating change in the world — from the top down (through domestic and international policy), from the bottom up (through grassroots movements), and now from the inside out (both within your inner life and within the financial system).
I started my career as a civil rights attorney and later worked in private practice for several years, specializing in commercial litigation, international trade, international arbitration, and antitrust and competition, while maintaining a robust docket of pro bono cases. A greater awareness of ecological trends on a planetary scale led me to become involved, as the director of a nonprofit program, in shaping the Sustainable Development Agenda at the United Nations. Before joining Chicory Wealth, I worked as policy counsel at a grassroots organization called the North American Marine Alliance (NAMA), and helped lead NAMA’s advocacy on ocean conservation, fisheries management, food policy, and social justice issues. I continue to play a leadership role in sustainability by serving as Board Chair of Global Footprint Network.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Howard University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. I’m a lifelong learner with extensive professional training in financial life planning.
In my free time, I enjoy dancing, biking along the water, traveling to tropical islands with my husband, and gazing at sunsets by the ocean.
