9/29/26 – Immigration Legal Aid & Political Advocacy with Just Neighbors

Join us on Tuesday, September 29th at 12:30pm ET for part two of our Chicory 1% for Social Justice webinar series featuring 2026 program partner, Just Neighbors!

Just Neighbors Executive Director, Erin McKenney, will join Max Kulyk to discuss the organization’s work providing critical legal services to low-income immigrants, asylees, and refugees across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We’ll dive into topics including:

  • What type of legal aid do immigrants, asylees, and refugees commonly need, and what challenges are especially unique for low-income families?
  • How have legal needs and systemic barriers shifted over the last few years?
  • What political policies are legal advocates most focused on, and how do we mobilize our communities/representatives to support them?

We’ll also feature a brief Markets Update from Christian Giadolor(opens in new tab), Chicory’s investment analyst. You won’t want to miss it!
